The Lågendalsmuseum is situated only 5 minutes walking distance from the town centre of Kongsberg. The museum portrays daily life in the region through its collection of 32 historical buildings, many of them beautifully decorated with traditional rose painting and wood carving craftsmanship. Proud manor house “Glitre Gård”, which housed some of Kongsberg’s most prominent and powerful residents, is also situated in the museum. The traditional farm animals that reside within the grounds during the summer months add to the authentic character of this charming museum. The museum is a great place for families! Et koselig friluftsmuseum i sentrum med dyr på sommeren (kuer, høner, geiter, hester, kaniner). Lekeapparater for barn. 5 min å kjøre fra huset. Gangavstand ca.25 min.
