Great aqua park for the children and big kids. You can also cycle around Rutland Water, hire paddle boards, sail, fish or go across to the south shore by boat.

A exciting place to visit during a dry day, even better in summer. Bring your own bikes or hire them on-site. You can do many water activities, rent a boat, walk in the woods, have a picnic, etc. There is a large play area for the children and some places to eat a warm meal. Perfect for a full day out if you enjoy the outdoors. Spectacular view. Note: it is not very local, it takes about an hour to go but it is well worth the effort if you don't live locally.

Rutland water is a great day out - take a picnic and go on the waterpark or take part in paddleboarding/kayaking or simply enjoy the walk round the reservoir... 21 miles in total!!! lovely pubs in the area to hit for some tea on the way home - 30 minute drive.
