Ghost town just off Indy pass, fun hike finding some places that are barely remaining, and others that are 100% intact.

It’s wild to think the Ute Mountain Ute people lived here for centuries and that miners and settlers built a town here in the 1800s, but they did, at 11,000+ feet. Accessible only when pass is open (summer/fall).

Cool deserted town from days of yore, beautiful views and fun little walk from the car! Be careful parking! Please remember to donate a little cash before you leave so we can keep it open to the public and tended to :D
