Stylish dining in a contemporary setting over two floors in the Sanderson Arcade. The food is of a very high standard, the service efficient and friendly. For the modern foodie, this should possibly be your first destination in Morpeth.

Barluga, in Sanderson Arcade opposite Marks and Spencers, has great food and cocktails. I'd recommend this for both a meal and if you're just looking to have a drink in a nice environment. Probably not for those who like the more rough-and-ready sort of pub, but Morpeth has lots of them too luckily (check out the Tap and Spile on Manchester Street).
