Offical Palace and still in use for formal visits. In the old days it was a city hall, courthouse. It has a lot of history. Worth a visit.

Iconic grand building from the 17th. century. Next to the Nieuwe kerk, (the 'New Church'), once it was the city's town hall, since 1805 it is the Royal Palace.

It is here where our king and queen stay if they have to be in Amsterdam. Originally a building of the people of Amsterdam, now for the royals. It is not always open, but if it is: worth while to take a look
