There are several wineries within a short radius of South Bend, and most of them are very close to each other. Domaine Berrien has the best icewine, and perhaps the prettiest view.

Domaine Berrien is known for their red wines (try the Syrah!) and their reputation is well-deserved. They have a small tasting room that can be crowded on weekends, but there is a large outdoor deck behind it where you can relax and enjoy your wine in the midst of the lovely vineyard. You can also watch them making the wine if you visit during harvest season.

Good selection of wines. Very close to Lemon Creek Winery, so make a point to stop there if in the area.

Their dry reds are unreal! Not your average sweet white Michigan wine! Try their cab-franc!
