Santa Justa Lift, also called Carmo Lift, is a elevator/lift in civil parish of Santa Justa. It connects the lower streets of the Baixa with the higher Largo do Carmo.
The Santa Justa Elevator,is a structure in neo-Gothic style, was built at the turn of the nineteenth century. It constitutes one of the most interesting monuments of downtown Lisbon.
Situated within the tourist and shopping district of the city, this 45m-high elevator was built by a disciple of Eiffel. Take a trip to the top to see unchallenged sights of the city.
