You can take a bus from Portobello to the door of this amazing country pub and see some sights on the way - around 45v minutes to get there - but worthwhile - Gullane beach is pretty as well

Owned by Tom Kitchen, the Bonnie Badger is a fabulous pub and restaurant with a stunning garden area to the rear which often does speciality BBQs and outdoor cooking.

Owned by renowned chef Tom Kitchin, worth a visit if only to enjoy the fabulous beer garden at this gastropub in Gullane.
