I absolutely love this place! Best Spanish food around and very reasonably priced. Their specialty is rotisserie chicken. I usually get a quarter chicken, white rice, and red beans with a salad 0 $7!

Sleepy restaurant by day, nonstop lounge by night, Tropical Grill is a very interesting spot on an otherwise uninteresting stretch of Rockaway Blvd heading to JFK. Afternoons are a great time to come here to sample the kitchen's wonderful food, including this fish pepper soup, ranking high on the list of top spicy dishes. Try Nigerian beers as well and fall into the slow-paced rhythm of a West African afternoon at the bar. Or bring a group after midnight for bottle service and see if you can score a seat in the VIP area.
