St. Louis #1 is the oldest & most historic cemeteries in New Orleans. Many visitors seek out the tomb of Marie Laveau, NOLA's most famous Voodoo priestess. Keep in mind that visitors cannot access this cemetery without an official tour guide!
Founded in 1789, this cemetery is the oldest in New Orleans and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
