But don't sleep on Cocotte. The chef, Sebastien Pourrat, has captured the attention of people like Eric Ripert. Small plates are the thing here and the cocottes — the casserole-based dishes — are especially strong.

New York is filled with secret little amazing restaurants and Cocotte is one of them. Small plates are the thing here and the cocottes - the casserole-based dishes - are especially strong.
French South-West cuisine. De-li-cious. The owner and chef is passionate and the staff is committed to everyone having a great experience. It's small and cosy, elegant yet simple decor. Love the place for dinner - or lunch! Week-end brunch is also unbelievable.
