Neuer Wall is one of the most luxurious shopping streets in Europe, and is lined with the stores of many of the world’s best-known designer brands. The kilometre-long boulevard was given a facelift in 2006, and provides a suitably glamorous setting for its array or fashion, homeware and jewellery brands, including Prada, Michael Kors, Mulberry and Longchamp. Those looking for a sparkling souvenir of Hamburg should make a beeline for jeweller Brahmfeld & Gutruf, one of Hamburg’s oldest retailers, whose colourful and ornate pieces feature nature-inspired motifs.
