Nice local park and walking area with cafe and food.

Cafe in a typical Sussex village, tucked away. Get there on the bus and combine it with a walk. Don't confuse it with the much more expensive Stanmer House.

Carol runs a great cafe and its friendly, affordable and open every day of the year from 10.00! Breakfast calls...and its only 250m away.

Dog friendly tea rooms in the centre of Stanmer Park where you can roam for hours and rarely see another person / cyclist.

“Known locally as 'the puppy park', this is a great place to bring your dog if you're worried he might wander. The actual 'puppy park' is a large fenced area where dogs are safe to roam. It's surrounded by woods which also provide lovely walks.”
