Trois Mec is the vision of Ludo Lefebvre, in conjunction with partners Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo (of Animal, Son of a Gun, and Jon & Vinny's). Opened in June 2013 in an old pizza parlor in a strip mall, Trois Mec, which loosely translates to “three guys,” offers a constantly changing prix-fixe menu. The old Raffalo's Pizza sign still hangs above the door outside, but that was the intention. It started as and remains an unpretentious fine-dining experience.

Best Gourmet Dining (time to blow it out!): Trois Mec (17 min walk) -- Ludo Lefebvre’s LA flagship. A tough reservation, and we like the bistro next door better, but it won’t disappoint.
One of the premiere restaurants in LA with TV chef Ludo. Really cool atmosphere and reservations are a must. The food is not my favorite but you should try it at least once.
Chef Ludo's restaurant and one of my absolute favorites in LA Difficult to get in, you need to purchase tickets 2 weeks in advance. Set tasting menu $$$$
