Home of many migratory birds, more than 300 species have been recorded here. Beautiful place to spend the day, with a picnic, swim or launch your boat in the harbor at the end of long point.

This is about a 30 minute drive, but it is true County landscape - big flat rocks, lovely clear water for a swim. This is a great place to picnic and spend a few hours as it is not crowded. You can enjoy pitching your spot on the rocks or have a long ramble around.

Wonderful short walk around the tip of the bay to the Lighthouse . The stones in this area are perfect for skipping. The area is quaint. Many ships sunk here due to the shallow shoals of False Duck Island. You can see the island from the lighthouse.
