If you’re on your way to Noosa, stop off at coolum beach. Enjoy the boardwalk up the hill. Lots of cafes and restaurants to enjoy the cool breezes and views of the beach.

Walk along the board walk, or just take off your shoes and stroll along the beach. Go body surfing or try some surfing lessons. The place is very busy (unless you are used to city living) on holidays but otherwise you'll be able to get into any cafe, restaurant, the RSL, bowls club or local pub.

Coolum is perfectly positioned for fabulous views up and down the Coast and is one of the best spots for land-based whale watching (from June to October). The patrolled beach is a great place for kids and adults to play and swim in the ocean. Coolum also boasts one of the best beachside boardwalks on the Sunshine Coast, following the coastline for many kilometres.

Coolum Beach has many restaurants, cafes, shops, Coles and Woolworths. The Coolum Surfclub is a nice place for a meal overlooking the beach. Tickle Park is a lovely place to have a BBQ or takeaway from one of the many shops overlooking the sea. Coolum Boardwalk. 15 minute drive South from here. The Coolum Boardwalk is a safe, easy walk with views of the beach. Nothing beats an Oceanside stroll and one of the best places for that is Coolum. The short walk is along the boardwalk next to David Low Way and is designed to be suitable for people of all abilities.
