Ever tried Jenever? A Dutch spirit served in a tiny glass. Alcohol percentage is high. So this one is the diehards that want to go for the local experience.

Local distillery that has been there since the 17th-century. You can't get more authentic than this. It's a great place to taste different Genever. Don't hesitate to ask questions to the staff, they are nice and full of stories!

“With just a few tables and a handful of barstools, this bar may be tiny, but it packs a lot of character into its diminutive space. Walls are decorated floor-to-ceiling with a mix of beer posters and racy street art; at the small wood bar, eight curving brass taps dispense top-notch Belgian-style draughts like La Chouffe and La Trappe. Around 50 specialty beers are also available by the bottle, many of them rare craft brews. During evenings, the bar even manages to squeeze in a DJ, who spins funky old-school jazz.”

“Small local brewery located in the city center of Amsterdam. The Prael combines working with people facing obstacles from the job market with brewing beer: a brilliant combination. This place has tasty beers and friendly down to earth staff!”

“With wow-factor views whatever the weather, this bar offers a 360-degree panorama of Amsterdam from the 11th floor of the DoubleTree Amsterdam Centraal Station hotel – and it gets better when you head out to its vast SkyTerrace, with an outdoor bar. Toast the view with a huge range of cocktails, craft beers and spirits. DJs regularly hit the decks from 9pm.”
