Excellent independent book store with best coffee on Orcas. Great children’s book section and interesting gifts.
If you still love actual books, then this is the place! This is village quaintness at it's best. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly! Coffee is Battendorf and Bronson and fantastic! Take a stroll back in time - pre kindles..
Just the BEST bookstore with a super cute coffee bar and the greatest water views ever!
Across the street from Eastsound Suites, this independent bookshop is a treasure. It also boasts an espresso bar with the best view in town!

Point of Interest
“People always ask, "where is the best place for seafood?" Well, the answer is complicated...the once pristine Salish Sea is not as healthy as it used to be (pollution is at hazardous levels) and overfishing has taken its toll. That "wild" salmon featured in restaurants and stores is probably from Alaska. Farmed shellfish however is happening at Buck Bay. Oysters are a favorite. Eat in or take home. ”

“You haven't done Orcas unless you've hiked or driven up to the tower and seen the breathtaking views of the San Juans, Mount Baker and Canada. Also check out Mountain Lake and a waterfall or two.”

Boutique d'art et d'artisanat
“This place is a real gem!! You must go, even if you have no intention of buying any pottery. The location is beautiful, their treehouse is cool, and the way they display their pottery in their yard is whimsical and fun. ”
