We recommend this outfit also. Nature guide aboard to explain what you are looking at and points of interest.
The drive to Deer Harbor is beautiful. Deer Harbor Marina houses this whale watching company. Their guides are very knowledgeable about our Salish Sea and seeing Orca whales are common on their trips.
Although I have never been on a whale watching tour, this one has great reviews and is just down the road from here.

“If you would like to golf during your visit, we would be happy to do a special golf deal for you! Just let us know! 9-hole course (front & back 9 tee boxes for if you would like to play 18) with a driving range. We have golf carts and club rentals. The course is usually not crazy busy, so it can be great if you’ve got kids or first time golfers!”

“Best restaurant on the island! This is the place for a romantic dinner for two or a special family occasion. Owners, Geddes (head chef) and Maryanna, are committed to sourcing the best ingredients, either from their own garden or local farms. The food is elegantly prepared to highlight the quality of the ingredients. It is THE PLACE TO EAT. The wines are carefully curated. Check out the beautiful bar that features creative cocktails. The location is fantastic, with outdoor dining in the warmer months offering spectacular ocean views. Enjoy!”

“The South Trailhead to Turtleback Mountain is my favorite. There are a couple different trails you can choose, but I prefer to stay on the main trail. You'll have sweeping views of all the islands once you hit a higher elevation. Well worth the sweat!”
