Classic Gospel Sunday Service. Expect long lines, so get there early. Out of respect, visitors are expected to attend the full service, not just the choir.

“To see a gospel service (really worth it!), go to “The Greater Refuge Temple”, the gospel music is really amazing and the ladies dressed in their Sunday best will transport you to another era. While in Harlem, “Amy Ruth’s” is a great place to eat soul food.”

“I have been crushing on their lemon cake for a few months now. I always get it by the slice and the cake part is my favorite! I'm not a fan of frosting, but they do it right here. Not too thick and really fresh-lemony tasting.”
