This is the nearest little Cotswolds town, although more like a village in feel and size, a few minutes walk from the cottage along Windmill Road and West End Road. You will find lovely quintessential Cotswolds architecture and a small number of great places to eat and drink.

A vast area worth walking around offers views into two different valleys, and on a clear day, you can see the River Severn and Wales. On a sunny day, the Bear provides a lovely place for a cocktail, and the ice cream shop has excellent homemade ice cream. During the Warmer months, cows, horses and even a donkey roam free around the common, which is quite the sight... especially when they decide to sit on the main roads.
