When the weather is agreeable- its the best patio! They have great food from breakfast through to dinner. It will satisfy salad lovers, burger lovers, the fries are extra special, and a wide selection of sandwiches and other entrees. The sister restaurant is Benelux Cafe in the Third Ward. You can't go wrong with any of Lowlands Group Cafes

If you feel like heading east towards the water but don't want to go down the hill towards the marina, one of my favorite places to get a crisp glass of wine and a delicious salad or other simple but delicious eats is Cafe Hollander. The outdoor patio feels like a French cafe and the bar is cozy. It's a romantic place.
