We have lived here for years and have only just recently visited this place - it does not disappoint. Best for slightly older children - maybe 6 or so upwards. Great for a rainy day.
Scotland's Secret Bunker is fascinating at any time but it's also a great sightseeing option on a wet day. An unassuming farmhouse conceals the entrance to an Underground Nuclear Command Centre built in 1953 and used during the Cold War. You can see dormitories, broadcasting studio, CND room and details of how the elite survived the Cold War in this top secret location.
