Excellent Asian fusion cuisine. Lots of fresh local produce used. Food that makes you feel good. Great for lunch if you’re out adventuring! Outdoor cafe (there is some covered seating, but be aware it is outdoors)

Some of the freshest food around! Also some of the cheaper great food on the island.

“Beautiful food with a perfect view right in the heart of Eastsound. Breakfast can't be beat. Try the chicken and waffles, you won't be sorry. ”

“Did we mention we have a James Beard award-winning chef on the island? This place offers one of the best dining experiences in the state. I compare the food to Canlis in Seattle… but it’s more laid back and cozy. I love to sit at the counter to watch their tiny kitchen work it! You HAVE to eat here at least once… and don’t just order pizza. Do order pizza, but you have to order something else too. ”

“Best restaurant on the island! This is the place for a romantic dinner for two or a special family occasion. Owners, Geddes (head chef) and Maryanna, are committed to sourcing the best ingredients, either from their own garden or local farms. The food is elegantly prepared to highlight the quality of the ingredients. It is THE PLACE TO EAT. The wines are carefully curated. Check out the beautiful bar that features creative cocktails. The location is fantastic, with outdoor dining in the warmer months offering spectacular ocean views. Enjoy!”

“People always ask, "where is the best place for seafood?" Well, the answer is complicated...the once pristine Salish Sea is not as healthy as it used to be (pollution is at hazardous levels) and overfishing has taken its toll. That "wild" salmon featured in restaurants and stores is probably from Alaska. Farmed shellfish however is happening at Buck Bay. Oysters are a favorite. Eat in or take home. ”

“Next door to Eastsound Suites is the sinfully delicious Brown Bear Bakery. The owners studied pastry-making in France-- everything that comes from their oven is sublime!”
