The Klimt Villa was his final studio, which he used from 1911 to 1918. It’s now open to the public as a museum to Klimt’s life, with an authentic recreation of the furniture and decor as it once was.

The famous painter Gustav Klimt lived there from 1911 - 1918 and created some of his most important paintings. He died there in 1918.

Gustav Klimt's house and last atelier. It's not an art gallery but if you're interested in the artist and his times, it's worth a visit. The interior (the atelier) is faithfully reconstructed and you will find lots of historical information about fin de siecle Vienna.

“High end Italian pasta bar and grill. Food is good but a bit pricey. Going there for coffee in the morning is highly recommended though. They have a special offer that's valid from 8am to 10:30am on weekdays and from 8am to 11:30am on weekends. During that time coffee is only 1.10 EUR. And it's very decent coffee too. Definitely the best price in Hietzing.”
