Such a beautiful building, the cinema is set in what was the old town hall and is not far from the flat. Tickets are cheap too! Adults £3.50! Good place to go on a rainy day!

The Carlton is a family-run Independent Cinema, housed in a unique Grade II Listed Building in the heart of Westgate-on-Sea. The Cinema, now part of the Picturedome Group, was originally built in 1911 as Westgate-on-Sea's Town Hall. They screen an eclectic mix of current Hollywood blockbusters, great family movies, and some of the Arthouse gems you may not see elsewhere. Their tearoom, Frederick’s, serves homemade cakes, savories and other treats that include a wide choice of gluten-free menu options. Tickets are £3.50 all week. Lounge seats, available in Screen 1, have a £1 extra charge.

A beautiful old Skool cinema, serving proper popcorn and sweets in boxes...... And less than 4 quid each!
