One of the very best fine dining restaurants in New Zealand. They offer seasonal tasting menus in a beautiful setting using the best of local ingredients. At over $100 per person for the tasting menu, it is for a special occasion or for the ultimate foodie experience here in Christchurch city.

An innovative and intimate restaurant located in the port town of Lyttelton, Roots is a specialist in creating and serving unique dishes from high quality seasonal ingredients. Giulio Sturla (Chef and owner) and Christy came to New Zealand from Chile to fulfill their dream of opening a restaurant, and were drawn to Lyttelton for its community and location within the Banks Peninsula.
