If you come to Pagosa, you have to go to the Hot Springs! There's 23 different pools, and it's billed as the world's deepest GeoThermal Hot Spring. Check it out at www.pagosahotsprings.com

This is what our town is known for. Make sure you stop by one of the 3 local soaking places to try it for yourself.

If you havent been to the springs you need to go at least once. Warm to smokin hot tubs overlooking the river. I remember when it was plastic tubs and a wood fence for 5 bucks and you could bring beer. I'm getting old.

Natural Feature
“It's kind of a ridiculous question to ask, "Where would you go to be around nature?" in these parts because we are absolutely surrounded by world-class natural beauty, and the San Juans are the centerpiece. Don't miss the Cimmarons, a region accessed north of Ridgway on Cty rd 10, signs for Owl Creek Pass and Silver Jack Reservoir. This is an incredibly rugged wilderness area that will blow your mind. Don't forget the fishing pole. Also... West of town on Hwy 62 after 6-7 miles you come to Cty rd. 7 and further on 62, Cty rd. 9. These roads drive through Ralph Lauren's jaw-dropping ranch property and into Forest Service lands eventually ending at the Wilderness area of the Sneffles Range.”

Pizzeria
“Rosie's is locally owned by a friendly gal. You'll love the local vibe and the generous portions of food. The pizza isn't Chicago pizza, but it's delish! ”
