There are a lot of bunkers to explore, on the right-hand side just before you turn left towards Hanstholm harbor. You see them as you approach and there is a small parking slot. Its super cool to walk around but mind the various holes (keep kids close). Unfortunately, there is also quite a lot of garbage in them every now and then as well as the occasional dead animal…so keep dogs close as well.

Hanstholm fæstning var en stor kystbefæstning, bygget af Nazityskland ved Hanstholm i Nordvestdanmark under Anden Verdenskrig. Resterne af fæstningen er nu et museum fra Anden Verdenskrig beliggende i Nationalpark Thy.
