Opened on June 3, 1916, the Uptown theater is one of the oldest surviving theaters in the Twin Cities area. A quirky mix of mainstream and indie films.
A small, trendy theatre featuring the finest in independent film and foreign language cinema, the Uptown Theatre also screens classic midnight movies every weekend including monthly showings of the legendary Rocky Horror Picture Show.
