This is a great tea house, best if you can get a small booth to yourself (not happening on Friday or Saturday night). Lots of teas with good explanations. One can learn a lot about tea, have many hot and cold drinks.
Wonderful place for relaxation, lovely conversation, and great tea.
This is the ideal spot to unwind after sightseeing in downtown. A locals favorite!
Take your shoes of, sit on the cushions with low tables and take your time while steeping your own tea. Great snacks.

“This is an Asheville classic. A BCorp, this company is integral from the core. And their products are amazing. Especially the coconut macaroon brownie!”

“This may be a little bit of a secret spot in Asheville. They do take reservations. Delicious Southern appetizers, small plates and entrees. They are known for their Rum selection, hence the name. ”

“If you just want a good cup of joe and a bagel quickly, as well as the option to stay for the free WIFI, check out Izzy's downtown. It's a bit of a hipster coffee shop but without the hipster attitude. The baristas are all friendly and skilled, the bagels are great and inexpensive, and their chocolate chip cookies are out of this world (though my wife prefers the ones at Old Europe, hah!). They also always have great music playing there, though depending on the barista it can range into some weird electro ambient atmospheres.”
