Well worth a visit. The food is very good and the portions very healthy. Dogs are welcome.

The Pines Garden Gallery opened in February 2020 and showcases the work of established artists from St Margaret’s Bay, Dover, Deal and Canterbury, who work with themes focused on nature, biodiversity, marine environments, flora and fauna. David Souter Artist and Art Curator in Residence at The Bay Trust says “The connection between Art and Nature has existed since early humans scratched on cave walls. Apart from providing endless inspiration and stimulation for artists many of the mediums they use to create their work wood, charcoal, clay, paint, graphite, water etc. are all products of nature.

These tearooms are very close by (next to the parking) offering traditional tea, cake, lunches. Opening times vary. Overlooking the pines gardens, dog friendly and moments from our property but also note there is the very famous South Foreland lighthouse tearooms (listed further down) which is our must do - for the stunning view.
