You can entertain your family in various activities, besides shopping: ice skating, arcade games, theaters, and excellent restaurants.

As a local, I avoid this place like the plague. Others who like to shop seem to like it, though, so I figured I'd add it to the list. They open up the mall early to mall walkers, if that's the kind of thing you are interested in.
