Pratt Rock is called the Mount Rushmore of the Catskills. The trail is moderate and followed correctly you will be delighted by the carvings. It is just down the road a piece.
Amazing views and beautiful scenery just minutes away! Bring a picnic and a bottle of wine and enjoy the great outdoors :) Otherwise known as New York's Mount Rushmore. The site is free and open to the public daily, and a steep path leads to the rocky base-relief chronicling Pratt's accomplishments…
Short but steep hike. Well worth it for the views of the Schoharie Creek form up top. The hike is only about 1/2 a mile. You will be winded from the climb.
