Incredible farmers market and so much more. Take the ferry in early, sample everything, drink the decadent hot cocoa.

Taking the ferry from Jack London to Ferry Building in SF is a great way to see the bay from a different view.

If you are a foodie, you have to go to the Ferry Building. There are several restaurants and specialty grocers. If you can make if for the Farmers Market, you are in for a huge treat. Farmers Market hours: Tuesday and Thursdays from 10am-2pm, Saturday 8am-2pm (Saturday's market is the largest).

The Ferry Building and the Farmers Market at the Ferry Building (Tues, Thurs and Saturday) is one of the most quintessential things to do for the locals of SF. The building is a historic landmark from 1896 and once it was renovated in 2003 I think it's one of the most important sights in San Francisco. Waterfront access and killer food.
