Conseils des habitants
Blue Springs is just a 6 mile drive to the north. It is famous for its crystal clear water, with a nice swimming area, and the manatees that visit in the colder month. Manatee migration just arrived in November. $6 entrance fee
This is a great place to kayak and to see Manatees in the Spring. There are hiking trails and a natural spring to swim in. The picnic area is very nice too.
Has access to canoeing, Scuba diving, kayaking - in cooler weather (mid November - March) the manatees will gather in the warm spring (73 degrees). The park covers over 2600 acres.
