An exquisite old library of the old school, when libraries were full of books, the buildings were a piece of artwork in themselves...
The National Library of Finland is not just a library, it is also a sight and a cultural destination where exhibitions and cultural events take place. The Library's main building is designed by architect C.L. Engel 1836 and was built in 1840-45.
