Sneaky Dee's is the quintessential punk dive bar, a longtime institution of Toronto's downtown core that caters to the young and cash-strapped. Great nachos.

Best nachos in town and cheap beer specials. This dirty, graffitied college bar is cheap and cheerful, but not the cleanest.

Great vibe. Relaxed. Local hangout. Can watch the game and have truly great pub food. The best Mac n' Cheese!! - made with three different cheeses and truffle oil. Hooch hour from 5-7 everyday.

Sports bar with decent food and a large bar to sit at if you're dining/drinking solo. Great brunch on the weekends and gets rowdy Fri/Sat night.

Hands down best Tacos in Canada. At Kensington Market to boot. Have some tacos and then go sit at the Portuguese bar/resto Amadeu's and finish a jug of sangria or a few beers or hang out.

Best tacos in Toronto found here! It's a small shop, may be standing room only. Make a quick lunch stop while exploring eclectic Kensington Market

Our favourite snack in Toronto. Seven Lives tacos are sublime. We recommend one taco for a snack or two for a meal. Three only if you're brave and very hungry. Watch out, the "hot" salsa is VERY hot.

One of Toronto's favourite brunch spots, there's often a line on weekends. Quite small despite being two floors. The kitchen is open to the restaurant, kind of a bohemian cottage from the 50's vibe.

Huge line with brusque service and ghetto decor. Cash only. If you can stand it the breakfast/brunch is killer!!
