Bear House, charming and peaceful house, 4 people

The Bear House is a cozy and comfortable house, completely surrounded by nature. It features a mix of modern and traditional style, giving it a unique atmosphere. The house has kitchenette, private bathroom, one double room and a low ceiling mezzanine with 2 single beds. All the windows are equipped with mosquito nets. Fiber internet available for fast and reliable internet. A car is an absolute must as there is no public transport to the house. Please read the house manual for more info.

It is a completely self contained, comfortable space with it's own entrance. Every window and both terraces have beautiful country views overlooking orchards and forest. It is quiet and serene and yet within walking distance to a lively cafe which serves excellent meals. It is 15 mins to the beach and 5 mins to the lovely town of Caldas da Rainha.

Its not necessary to go on a big journey out of Lisbon to get to a rural house made of stone in a calm and relaxing area. Located 1:20h away from Lisbon in a rural village called Venda Nova, however it is located just 8Km away from Nazaré and 5km from São Martinho do Porto the main cities around.You can go on foot from the house down to the beach of the Salgados and in the region it is common to see people doing Parasailing, Surfing and other adventure sports.
