Creek-Side Farmhouse Near Burlington, Vermont

This 200-year-old farmhouse is in in the middle of a country village, close to The Long Trail and Sugarbush and Mad River ski areas. You will wake up to the sound of birds and the brook that runs next to the house. We are midway between Burlington and Middlebury, which offer many attractions of their own such as music and cultural events, shopping, and great restaurants. Your host is on site to be sure you are comfortable with amenities including a memory foam bed and fresh ground coffee.

We embrace the quirks, character and eccentricities of this old beautiful building and we hope you do, too. Middlebury Private Suite, walk to campus.

A pleasant walk to Middlebury town and college from this handsome 1827 Federal home which is licensed with the state. The suite has two bedrooms with one private bathroom and it’s own entrance. Each room has a queen bed with a comfortable mattress fitted with sun dried cotton sheets. The suite has a small refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle and French press. If the reservation is for 2 persons but both bedrooms are required, there is an additional $80 per night charge.

All stays include yummy, homemade breakfasts, using organic and local ingredients. XC skiing and snow shoeing can be accessed on our adjoining field with your own equipment. Sugarbush and Mad River Glen are a 1/2 hour drive via the Roxbury Gap (snow tires and winter driving skills a must) or a 55min drive via I-89, exit 9.
