Set in a row of attractive cottages on a quiet lane and directly opposite the handsome Norman Church. Slow down and recharge at The Old Smithy. Built about 600 years ago, this Cotswold stone blacksmiths forge has been transformed into a cosy retreat for two. Kingham is a highly sought after village in the heart of the Cotswolds. With a wealth of brilliant pubs and wonderful countryside walks on our doorstep, you can bring your dog along to enjoy too. The Kingham Plough and The Wild Rabbit, are a short walk away. Daylesford Organic Farm Shop and Bamford club a longer walk/short drive.

Under The Owl Tree is a luxury shepherds hut situated in the heart of a working farm in a beautiful village in the Cotswolds. The hut is fully fitted to a very high specification. It has all the amenities for comfort including a fully fitted shower room, hot water and flushing loo. Please note it is a minimum of a two nights stay over the weekends. Sadly dogs are not allowed as we have farm animals, horses, chickens, ducks and not to forget Baguette and Lottie the Kune Kune pigs.

Just 5 minutes drive from the historic market town of Chipping Norton, with plenty of shops & relaxing coffee stops. In winter a log burner makes it cosy. There are footpaths 'from the door' and great mountain & road biking too. We love welcoming UK and international guests.
