Cwt Glo eco cottage Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon)/ Zip World

Cwt Glo is a cosy and peaceful cottage for two in Northern Snowdonia nestled between two mountain ranges the Carneddau and Glyderau. Cwt Glo is situated in a small village near Bethesda called Mynydd Llandygai. There is private off road parking next to the cottage. Cwt Glo is Welsh for Coal house and the cottage was the place where the coal was weighed and measured. The property has been both a farm and coal yard for the local area. Cwt Glo is a semi sustainable/off grid cottage it has a solar and wind system however there is the backup of mains electricity. There is also an LPG central heating and hot water system. The cottage has a wood burning stove to keep you cosy and warm in the evening after a busy day exploring the local area. We also provide the wood for your stay.

Situated on the North Wales coast, at the foot of the Carneddau Mountains and with views across to the Isle of Anglesey, this beautifully renovated former Smithy, just off the A55, is the perfect location for exploring the treasures of North Wales. Relax in front of the woodburning stove after a days exploring, watch the sun set over Penrhyn Castle, take a walk down to the beach, or enjoy a drink at the The Slate Tavern and a walk home across the fields. Arosfa is a comfortable cosy caravan situated within the grounds of Bryn Llys. It offers a tranquil setting with ten acres of gardens, lake and woodland, the perfect place to relax after exploring the surrounding area. Close to the border of Snowdonia National park, Arosfa is a 10 min walk to local amenities in the village of Bethesda and short walk from world famous Zip World. Arosfa is also situated on the famous Snowdonia Slate trail and an ideal stop for those walking the 83 mile circuit.

The Bunkhouse is located in a quiet hamlet and has a separate entrance keeping it completely private. It overlooks a meadow and the river Ogwen. A stone building now renovated and equipped to provide comfortable accommodation for two people. Bunk beds - linen - en-suite -towels -TV - Tea & Coffee. A fridge is available in a nearby outhouse. Well placed to discover Snowdonia, nearby hills, mountains, cycle paths, walks and climbs, and also ZipWorld Velocity 2 which is only a short walk away.

Rural farm cottage

The cottage is a self contained one bedroom annexe, on our working hill farm on the outskirts of the village of Tal y Bont, providing an ideal base for exploring the mountains, lakes, castles and coastlines. The cottage has been sensitively restored and maintains many of its original features, including a crog loft (please note that access is via steep stairs) and exposed beam ceilings. The cottage is within 60 acres of beautiful hillside farm.

Set beside the apple orchard at The Old Sheep Farm in Eryri National Park (Snowdonia), The Hayloft is a dog-friendly, one-bedroom crog-loft hideaway a short drive from the coast. Exposed beams, a wood-burner and a freestanding roll-top bath give the cottage a warm, settled feel, while stunning views stretch across the hills towards the sea. Llety Pant Teg B and B is a family run Bed and Breakfast set in the leafy village of Tregarth on the outskirts of Bangor between Bethesda and Llanberis. Just down the road from Zipworld Velocity. Next to Capel Shiloh Methodist church this 150 year old building has been the residence of many famous preachers — the most iconic being E Tegla Davies an author of many welsh books. Expect a home grown welsh family welcome.

Caban y Carneddau is a cosy log cabin located at the foot of the Carneddau mountains with stunning scenery of the Menai Strait and the Isle of Anglesey. The Caban is only a stone's throw away from the famous Slate Trail and Penrhyn Castle, steeped in its links to the Bethesda mining history can be seen clearly from the decking area. Attractions close by includes Zip World and Snowdonia Mountain walks.
