This house is a historic mansion and each room is curated with incredible colors and details. It was a one-of-a-kind experience staying here. Access to the kitchen and tease and hot water throughout the day in the beautiful lobby living room sitting area which we used quite a lot. There is quite a wealth of information about the history of the house all around. It was disappointing, not to see more of an acknowledgment of the contribution of African-American people to the history of the house.

This is mansion is an historical gem in downtown Birmingham. Loaded with beautiful period antiques, it represents antebellem Southern living at the turn of the last century. A truely unique experience enhanced by Sheila's hospitality makes this mansion worth a visit.

We had a fun time visiting and taking pictures of all the decor and rooms. The grounds of the property are very pretty. Other than the loud bars and loud cars all night, we had a great time. Breakfast the next morning was very delightful with a variety of fruits along with a eggs,sausages and croissants. Paired with orange juice and coffee. Would definitely recommend visiting the experience alone is worth it.

What an amazing value! Incredible breakfast, conversation, and location! You really can’t bet this place. It’s beautiful, quiet, and in the most walkable neighborhood in Birmingham. Sheila is a lovely hostess and shows great care for every guest.

What an amazing place!! Really enjoyed our stay, definitely will be coming back. A gem in the birmingham area and a must see! So gorgeous, and the owner is so sweet!

This stay was wonderful. The home is magical, with so many antiques and beautiful touches. The home is terrific, and so is this history of what Shelia and her husband Ira (passed) have done with it. There's news stories and documents of the world reknown wood sculpting Ira had done, and the home is full of his treastures. The gazebo outside was amazing, and the grounds were lovely. Right next door is Chez Fonfon, a terrific French restaurant with a James Beard recognized chef. We walked there for our anniversary dinner, then to the "Cheers-esque" friendly tavern just across the street. The breakfast was terrific, the coffee kept coming, and the conversation with Sheila and the other B&B guests was enjoyable. Sheila has had some very interesting groups and guests over the years, and has a world of stories to share, and to relate to just about any topic that arises.

Great place to stay. Very interesting. Breakfast was awesome! Enjoyed meeting the other guests. Loved the game we played with Sheila. She is a wonderful host. The room we stayed in had plenty of room & a very comfortable bed. My wife did not like the mannequin in the room with the fancy dress on it lol.

We loved our stay at The Secret and are glad it is no longer a secret! I will say that we might not choose the Treehouse cottage again because of the steps and the fact that there is no actual shower (only a jetted tub with a pull out shower head), but it was very cute and cozy and really did have a treehouse feel to it if that’s what you’re looking for. We loved the accessibility and friendliness of Charlie and Kris and loved the country/retro atmosphere and that it is pet friendly (the cottages). The pool was wonderful!! We definitely want to return!

The Rose House Inn is furnished with antiques, equipped with modern conveniences, and walking distance from a charming downtown. The Hostesses were available when needed, the neighborhood peaceful, and the community friendly and helpful. My stay was simply delightful. Looking forward to a return visit!

We hope to come again. It was the most peaceful place, so breathtakingly beautiful. My boys loved the pool. The breakfast was fit for a king and queen. So good! Kris and Charlie went out of their way for our comfort. We love the Secret!!

We can’t say enough great things about Magnolia Springs B&B and the hosts David & Eric. We loved it so much we stayed an extra 2 nights because we didn’t want to go home. Not only is the location and setting of the B&B picture perfect with the wrap around porch and beautiful fern covered trees, the Historical home has been beautifully restored but with tons of original character saved. If that doesn’t get you to book a stay here the gourmet breakfast will. David, a professional chef, cooked some of the best breakfasts I have ever put in my mouth. The Kiss My Grits plate is to die for! The hospitality was top notch, the rooms were clean and had everything you need! We left planning our next trip back.

Harlan was: A gentleman, cares for his guests, an interactive communicator, but also respectful of our privacy and peace. His place is clean, linens are clean and fresh. He fixes a wonderful breakfast! We would definitely stay with him again!

I enjoyed my stay everything was good place just as described hosts nice and welcoming the hosts had drinks for us among other things in the refrigerator to eat and drink really no complaints they respond fast aswell and communicate well

We loved our stay at the charming and perfectly located AirBnB. Checking was a breeze, our room was perfect and very plush with pillows, quilts, and towels. Plenty of space for our bags and belongings in our room. Communication with our host was always fast and made our stay worry free. There are ample rooms and bathrooms. Temperture inside was always perfect. We were staying for a reunion and wish we would have had more time to explore all the treasures inside and out. Location is perfect for down town and exploring all the southern charms of Camden. Stanford is very knowledgeable on local eating option and sight seeing opportunities. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Camden.

Wow. Jackie's place is a stunningly beautiful antebellum mansion on a farm in a gorgeous part of Alabama. The house is jaw-dropping; the grounds are lovely; and the room in which my wife and I stayed was completely charming. Jackie herself was so warm and welcoming that we felt right at home immediately; her breakfast was, in a word, perfect (she's a chef); and we loved chilling out with her friendly dog and cat (and horse and donkey). We stayed at her place on something of a whim while traveling from Atlanta to New Orleans by car. "Hey, this looks great," we thought, "let's try it." We are so glad we did. We simply loved staying here, and we are already planning how to come back.

I needed an Airbnb to relax at during my visit for a weekend wedding and this place was perfect! Very comfortable and clean house. Also Essence was a great communicator and made sure I felt accommodated during my stay!

Sweet home Alabama!!! Very helpful in every way, place was tip top and well taken care of. The breakfast was a fest loved everything about it thanks again.

Mark's place is amazing. This is why I use Air B&B. This is one of the best homes I've ever stayed in. Mark is a great host!

I loved the cleanliness, all the household amenities, the cozy bedroom, private back area to drink coffee in the morning and the wonderful care provided the by the host and property manager! I add a FABULOUS stay!

Buck Creek BNB was wonderful! Our only disappointment was we couldn’t stay longer! We will definitely be back next year when we come to the SEC Baseball Tournament at the Hoover Met Complex.

Steve was very helpful and friendly. The house is larger than pictures show and there are all types of amenities that come with the house. We had a great stay. Dogs do live on site, so if you are sensitive to dogs it’s something to be aware of. We were 12-15 minutes from about anything you want to do in Tuscaloosa.

Very clean place, has everything you need, nice view out the back, and thoughtful touches throughout. I appreciate the games indoor and out for all ages to play, that was a nice surprise. I would like to go back in the fall when we can spend more time outdoors and see the colorful foliage surrounding the area.
