The cedar shack was absolutely perfect for a family traveling together! Four beds and three baths was ideal for allowing privacy when desired yet the open floor concept of the kitchen, dinning, and living rooms provided the perfect opportunity to spend time together, especially with all of the fun games Becca provided!! The back yard was great for a nice bbq and the gated deck was amazing for dogs or children! Everything we needed for our stay was provided and the location was perfect. Becca was an exceptional host, and very accommodating and responsive! We walked to the beach multiple times. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. All of the amenities, restaurants and attractions were very close by as well! I would absolutely recommend this hike to anyone staying in the OBX area! I know we would love to be back in the future! Thank you again for everything!

This was a great rental for our family’s first trip to the Outer Banks. We brought our three young kids and dog; everyone was comfortable and had a great time. The home was well-stocked with everything we needed. We loved the hot tub and the short 10 minute walk to the ocean. Michael was a great host! Will definitely plan on staying here again!

This Airbnb was wonderful, there was no need to leave the Airbnb since there was so much to do on the property. I will say it may not be the best for kids under 4, but we still had a lot of fun. Older kids would have a blast here.

River Shore had room for the two of us to spread out a little and enjoy the river view. The geese flying overhead and the red birds chirping in the yard gave us many pleasurable moments did walking along the entryway road. Very enjoyable stay.

Kate’s place is really comfortable and cozy with lots of attention to detail-the location is so beautiful and peaceful. My family and I enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!

Ariana’s home was a perfect getaway! Our dog, Bud E, absolutely loved the back yard and how quiet the neighbourhood was. Enough space to get all his puppy zoomies out after a long car ride. The home offered a lot of activities to do in the house and around it. The jacuzzi was the perfect way to end the night after a short walk from the beach. Definitely would recommend to anyone going to the OBX that is bringing their dog.

We were so excited to have such a wonderful house for our long cycling weekend. Our group of nine adults had plenty of room and enjoyed the house’s many amenities: roomy kitchen, comfortable furniture, expansive backyard, and welcoming front porch. The house was exceptionally clean and newly renovated and all the beds were comfortable, Our host responded promptly and was accommodating. The location is excellent. We were able to walk to the downtown and its shops, bars, restaurants and waterfront.  We would stay there again in a heartbeat. 

The place was exactly as pictured- but I didn't realize there was no common sitting area. However, our weather was beautiful and the outside sitting area under the deck comfortably served as that. Just be aware, if you like to watch movies, or sporting events together- it has to be from bed. That being said- the beds were comfortable, the kitchen well equipped- and despite a person being upstairs, the upstairs noise was minimal. Easy walk to the sound and the ocean. We especially appreciated the umbrella, chairs and cart that were available for our use. We definitely enjoyed our long weekend at the beach! Thank you.

What a cool place!!! The house is full of interesting art, poetry books, and comfortable and colorful furniture. The hosts left a fun assortment of tea and provided numerous comfort details such as fresh lemon grass spray in the bathroom. Truly one of the most charming and comfortable Airbnb choices I have ever made. If your staying in the area THIS IS THE PLACE!

Your home was beautiful very clean. We we’re staying in the area for a family reunion and finding this home worked out perfectly. I would actually stay again if and when we get a chance to come back to the area. We have stayed at many Airbnb over the years and your home was one of the best. This is an absolutely lovely place. You are able to walk to the beach and the grocery store. I thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. Dog friendly too!

The OBX Beach Box by Sarah was a perfect spot for me and my partner’s weekend get away. The instructions that were given were very simple and easy to follow. Just a cute cozy place. Would definitely stay here again!

If you’re looking for a nice peaceful getaway this is definitely the place to go! The boathouse is so exceptionally beautiful and cozy feels like home away from home! Gorgeous view of the water! The owner is super nice and very responsive! I would give this place 20/10!!!

10/10! I enjoyed my stay so much I've already booked another stay there! The home was very clean as was evident by the prevalent smell of air freshener and fresh-smelling cleaning products. I have a very sensitive nose, so for me it was a bit much, but the issue was quickly and easily resolved by letting in the fresh ocean air. The home was extremely well-stocked and the bed was very comfy. The host was responsive and friendly, and the location is perfect -- very idyllic and peaceful.

We loved this beautiful home! Beautifully decorated-calm vibe. So cozy and comfortable. I’m also an Airbnb host and I can tell you this space is wonderful! Well worth the price point! Don’t miss out on the fire pit. Something about a fire with your family by the water…it’s truly magical. I highly recommend this place. You won’t be disappointed. Kathy is kind and accommodating. Dragon and his property are truly unique. He provided not just one, but two personal numbers as soon as the booking was confirmed! Despite my late arrival due to a nasty storm, he stayed up to ensure I arrived safely. He encouraged me to relax and not to worry about a specific checkout time. While the cabin is simple, it provides a safe and dry shelter for sleep. The grounds are free for guests to enjoy as they wish. I enjoyed my morning as I played some music and cooked breakfast on the provided stove. As the sun rose and the birds sang. Although I brought everything one could need. There is plenty provided for such a reasonable price. Dragon's property, though simple, felt like a haven. From the moment I arrived, to the moment I left, I felt at peace.

Longacres is a special place. It’s definitely rustic and my teenagers weren’t excited at first. But when it was time to go home, they didn’t want to leave. The outdoor shower and sleeping porch are amazing. My husband and I used them in all weather from the 70s to the 40s. The electric blanket kept us cozy on even the coldest nights. Staying at Longacres felt like glamping. You might have to deal with a few wasps or spiders, or you might run into some cobwebs. But the birds singing you awake every morning, the sun shining in through the tree, the wind whispering in the pines, and the blue sky over head during a shower make those bugs and cobwebs totally worth it! The location was a great jumping off point for all OBX adventures. Anne was a responsive host and quickly dealt with a minor issue we had. I hope we get to come back again sometime!

We really felt home away from home. Very cozy and welcoming property. We had everything what we need. We found great seafood market 4 min away. We cooked fresh catch for dinner every night. We like hiking, and biking. So many good trails around. We did a lot activities first part of the day and afternoon was great time at the beach. We will come back and recommend this charming place for a couple.

The Cabin was fantastic. Just what we needed to relax and unwind. Secluded yet close to everything. Thank you for the hospitality!
