This cozy wood and stone cabin is located at the top of a mountain in a small Mayan village. The cabin overlooks the mountains and is surrounded by nature and tranquility. We are a 30-minute drive from the village of Lanquin (partially on a bumpy dirt road in very poor condition) and then a 200-meter walk on a rocky and sometimes muddy and slippery mountain path! If you are an adventurous nature lover and want to wake up in the clouds to an epic view, then this place is for you!!

Happy Iguana Marina Cabin #2 is accessible by land or water and is a cozy waterfront retreat on the scenic Rio Dulce River. With two queen bedrooms and two sets of bunk beds in the living area, it comfortably accommodates families or groups. The cabin includes a bathroom with a stand-up shower, a kitchen with a fridge and cooktop, a dining area, and air conditioning. Guests have access to a pool, BBQ area, hammocks, and a shared dining space. Boat slips are available.

We are Gold Standard certified. We are two Canadians that sold everything we owned, packed it into a Jeep, and decided to embark on the journey of a lifetime. We built two eco-conscious cabins located in the heart of beautiful Placencia, just minutes walking distance from the beach, pier, restaurants, and local amenities and events. We don't offer A/C, but we do offer a pool and each cabin is equipped with a ceiling fan and a large positionable fan for your comfort.

The Easy Breezy Suite at Lazy Palm Suites is a 1st floor oceanfront unit steps from the beach. Huge 1000 square foot unit with a bedroom, living room with a couch, full kitchen, dining space, and full bathroom. The air conditioned bedroom contains a queen bed and a twin bed. The expansive porch has direct access to the beach and contains a full dining set and chairs for watching the sunrise with a steaming cup of coffee. Beachfront living at its finest!
