The décor was stylish, everything was spotless, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the view was absolutely stunning. We also truly appreciated your warm hospitality and all the thoughtful touches throughout our visit. We would love to come back again!

Nice little place to use as a starting point to do the Cabot Trail circuit! Booked it fairly last minute, but Ian was still there to great me with a smile on arrival and show me around the small space. Great little place if all you're looking to do is sleep and clean up a bit, since it's a smaller space with not many extras. I was in a rush booking and didn't realize the common area (couches, wood burning stove, some basic kitchen appliances) which includes the bathroom (a lockable room with the kitchen sink, shower, and toilet) were actually shared with the other bunkie on premises. The other guests were respectful and we had a nice short chat when bumping into each other on the way to a shower or such, before heading our separate ways. Although the separation of bed space did make any late night trips to the bathroom a bit chilly, as you have to walk out of your bunkie to the common room. But besides that, it was a clean, nice place to lay my head before a long day of adventuring.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay here. The coastal location is remote, private and beautiful. The clean, roomy cottage had everything we needed for our three night stay. Marcie is a very responsive and thoughtful host who adds a personal touch to your stay. The viewing platform is a great spot for wave watching and coffee sipping. The front room provided additional harbor views when the weather didn't cooperate for outside adventure. We would highly recommend a stay here!

Our stay at Justine’s place was so great! She was very accommodating with an early check in time, the dome was spotless and the view was beautiful. The bed was so comfy that when I got home, I ordered the same king size bed! Lol. The large deck with the hot tub was perfect. Will definitely be back!

We stayed at Brent’s place for two days and everyone loved it. The views were stunning and we had a great time despite the cold. We even went kayaking when the sun came out. The rooms and bathroom were clean and we enjoyed the large windows with scenic views. Though the pool was closed for the season, the cozy gazebo made up for it and we spent most of our time there though we could only use it once due to rain and cold. Big thanks to Brent for being a responsive and kind host! One suggestion: Placing the jacuzzi under a covered deck/ retractable shade, so it can be enjoyed even in the rain while still have an ability to rub under the night sky.

This is a true gem! A serene cabin with a million-dollar view of the Northumberland Strait, walkable to the beach. Great for young kids!

My daughter and I came to Antigonish, for two nights, to visit StFX. We were unsure of where to stay. After reading through other's reviews of Kathryn's and Johns spot, we booked. And I am so happy we did! I have stayed in many Airbnbs and I don't think I have ever been in one that was as thoughtfully and thoroughly appointed as theirs. It was just perfect! Clean, cozy, and warm. It was a little bit out of the town centre, but Kathryn and John had coffee and tea available for us, and milk and cream in the fridge! A carefully stocked kitchen to make making small meals easy. A well lit washroom with extras of all the basics. They made our stay so pleasant! The spot is right on Antagonish harbor with beautiful late afternoon sun and sunset views. And a 30 minute walk to beautiful secluded beaches. If you are coming to Antigonish, I don't think you'll find a better spot. We hope to be back!
