Antigua : locations de vacances avec brasero

Our week at Franz and Korin’s place was absolute heaven. The house is spacious and comfortable with a beautiful garden. Outside sitting areas have beautiful views and a perfect breeze and shade. Kids spent hours in the pool watching the humming birds fight over the hibiscus flowers. Franz and Korin are incredible hosts! They met us at the door, explained every detail and connected us with all the tours we were interested in. We loved the 2 beaches within walking distance to the house- Hermitage has good snorkeling and hiking trails, Pearns point is gorgeously wild with fantastic huge shells. We also enjoyed a quick skip and hop to Jolly harbor for food shopping and restaurants (Sandra’s is the best). There is also a hard but rewarding trail up the peak and along the ridge through dense vegetation one street over. Sailing with Christian was also another memorable highlight. We can’t wait to be back!

We had a wonderful 5 night stay at Ros’ beautiful home. She was so kind and welcoming. Her home was stunning and our bedroom/bathroom/living room was a very large space. It is more than a enough room for 2 people! We used her kitchen for breakfast and tea and she is very kind for sharing that space with us. Ros has two very friendly dogs that are the absolute sweetest! You absolutely need to rent a car in order to stay at this location. The road to her house is a bit rough and bumpy, so if you’re not used to driving on such a road, I would recommend renting a Jeep or large 4x4 car meant for off-roading.

This was our 2nd stay at the property & we had a great time there again. The property is well equipped & has had A/C added to the downstairs since our last time which is a welcome addition to the A/C upstairs. The property is well equipped for a family of four & 5 mins walk from the beach. The supermarket on the complex makes self catering easy or there are a number of restaurants close by. Anywhere on the island is less than 45 mins drive & really easy to self drive. Balconies off each bedroom & a large deck onto the water means there is plenty of outside space with seating & a BBQ. All communications are really quick if you have any questions & makes for a really relaxing holiday. Hopefully we will be back to enjoy the island again a 3rd time.

We had a wonderful stay in this gorgeous rustic beach house. It feels fairly remote but it was easy to find and is in a good location for exploring the rest of the island in a rental car. There’s just one other house on the same beach – this was lovely as our daughter made some friends to play with. We loved spending time out on the deck seeing lots of local wildlife – the hummingbirds and lizards were our favourites! We also loved stargazing. I’d recommend investing in plenty of insect repellent (which you’d need anywhere on the island), and water shoes because the coral on this beach is sharp underfoot.

Roger was super helpful in letting us check in early. The apartment was perfect for our needs with beautiful outdoor space and the pool was an added bonus. We used the local buses to get to the beach you never have to wait very long. Very chilled place with kind and pleasant staff, I highly recommend South Coast Horizons, thank Roger and staff.
