Our Curious | Opossum Hollow

Welcome to Opossum Hollow in the quaint mountain town of Travelers Rest! Our partially restored 1984 Airstream Excella, lovingly referred to as `Possum Holler', is situated on the same property as our home. With a covered space for parking and a 35 foot skylight deck, this outdoor space is designed for cool evening lounging and warm afternoon napping. We worked with a number of local artisans to design and create the entire space, ensuring most every element is handmade, upcycled, and recycled!

Take it easy at our renovated 1973 Airstream in Hot Springs, NC surrounded by nature and farm animals. Panther Branch Farm sits on 30 acres of lush mountainous terrain with streams, waterfalls and hiking trails to explore. On our small farm we have chickens, bees, goats, and alpacas that love to be hand-fed. Unwind in our outdoor spa, with a sauna and a natural spring water bath or simply relax and take in the peaceful views of the National Forest from the front door of this beautiful Airstream.

Located in Amish country & about 10 minutes from great shopping, guests can wake up to peace, quiet and a countryside view. With a full-size bed as well as couches that easily convert into a King-sized bed, the bus is a great getaway for couples, friends, and families! FYI: read full listing for information. Time travel to 1958 in this architectural gem! This mid-century modern glass and wood cabin is 300 yards away from a charming small lake. The house is NOT on the lake itself, but it is surrounded by trees in a lovely secluded spot. The only heat is a wood stove... but there is a 4-person cedar barrel sauna in the woods that is electric. A classic 1952 Spartanette travel trailer serves as an extra bedroom. This is a true retreat for romance and adventure.
