Triple Crown Cabin w/ Trout pond!

Amazing handcrafted cabin located in the center of the "Roanoke Triple Crown" (McAfee's Knob, tinker cliffs and dragons tooth trails) just minutes from each trail head. Cabin is tucked away from everything. No other houses can be seen from the cabin. The cabin overlooks a beautiful pond with a small waterfall cascading in. Cabin was sustainability built with trees from the 20 acres it sits on. McAfee's Knob trailhead is 10 minutes away, Andy Layne trailhead to tinker cliffs is 9 minutes away.

The Magical Cabin on Back Creek

Magic is the word most people use when they visit this hidden gem. Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. Falling Pines Historic Cabin

The original log cabin was built in 1936 by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). These cabins were built after the Blue Ridge Parkway was laid in 1935, which is just down the street. With love and attention our cabin's renovations were complete in 2017. We kept the original log walls to add a rustic feel to the contemporary, crisp clean decor. The cottage overlooks the babbling waters of Back Creek but is just a 5 minute drive to the grocery store, private yet convenient.

Come relax on our happy farm in the magical mists of the Roanoke Valley! Our private guest suite with its own entrance & patio is serenely located amidst lovely views of our landscaped gardens, playful horses, & magnificent mountains. Otterview has one of the most incredible views in the state, a huge deck, and a pond. The house is open format with 3 bedrooms, a top-of-the-line kitchen, cozy living room, and an extraordinary great room. Look out at the Peaks of Otter, enjoy incredible sunrises and sunsets. You are welcome to grill out on the Blackstone, enjoy the fire pit, and relax on the dock. There are two miles of trails on the 37-acre property with their own trail signs and map.

The Little Brick Cottage

The Little Brick Cottage is in a great location, just minutes off I-81, close to Roanoke, Salem, Carvins Cove, and the Appalachian Trail. We offer a large but cozy space for you and your loved ones. The home is 8.5 miles from downtown Roanoke; 2 miles from the Appalachian Trail; 4 miles from Carvins Cove; 7 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway; and 18 miles from Buchanan with access to the James River.
