It’s an 8 minute drive to the beautiful village of Kaslo and a 10 minute drive to Ainsworth Hot Springs. It's a 30 minute walk to the stunning ‘Fletcher Falls’; an amazing waterfall and quiet beach. There is also year round use of a hot tub which overlooks the stunning view of the lake and mountains.

We are located in upper Kaslo, a short walk to trails along the river and a 15 minute walk to the village and the lake (or a 30 second drive! ) This cottage is a place to relax, take in the mountain air, and explore what Kaslo has to offer. Pet Friendly! There is a suite downstairs that is also a nightly rental.

A cozy home perched on a bluff with a pool extending right off the front deck. Beautiful views of Kootenay Lake, Duncan River and Selkirk Mountains. A hot tub is right next to the pool. An amazing 30 foot pond and 16 foot waterfall is located just around the corner from the pool. 48 solar panels. Over 50 hummingbirds patron our feeders. Lots of hiking, low and high elevation. Wetlands, habitat reserve. Very private wilderness experience. Great photography everywhere!

Nelson Lake Suite - Cozy Scenic Getaway

Kick off your shoes and take in the serene view at our cozy hilltop suite. Enjoy a kitchen stocked with every comfort you expect, plus specialty coffee equipment you’ll love. Wind your way across the road and down the trail to our private sandy beach, and roast some marshmallows on the campfire while you’re there. Novelty and adventure are nearby: only 3 minutes to Nelson, 28 minutes to Whitewater Ski Hill, and 1 minute to Lyons Bluff hiking trail.

Kootenay Lakeshore Cottage

Welcome to Kootenay Lakeshore Cottage! This unique guest house is sparkling clean, cozy and bright with a wonderful view of and immediate walking access to picnic tables, fire pit, hot tub and Kootenay Lake. Fishing, paddle boarding and boating are right at your door step. You will be able to access many hiking and biking trails in our area as well as enjoy exploring the restaurants, shopping and museums in the village of Kaslo.

Situated on Kootenay lake, our suites provide travelers with a choice between two unique and beautiful accommodations. Both suites are spacious and feature incredible lake and mountain views, private decks, fully equipped kitchens, and private access to a secluded beach.
